How do I decide what Taxi Insurance I need?
There are two types of UK Taxi cover that you can obtain and these are described below

* Saloon or estate cars are very popular and with the diesel engines and durability can prove very cost effective.
* Minibuses these are generally with a minimum of 8 passenger seats and can cater for much larger parties or even more comfortable longer trips.
* MPV’s these are for shorter trips with less than 7 passengers
* Executive or Prestige vehicles – you could also try chauffeur insurance for this, with the correct permit this could save you money.
How many drivers can I have on my taxi car insurance policy?
All motor insurance policies can offer some additional driver coverage but with taxi insurance generally you would limit yourself to insured only or insurance one named driver. The premium constraints of having any more drivers named would make the policy uncompetitive and would not be as cost efficient as you would like.

Will taxi fleet insurance be the best option?
Taxi fleet insurance can be obtained with a minimum of 3 vehicles but we are able to provide a multivehicle quotation for vehicles less than 3 and as such can make administering your policy easier and easier.

Is there an excess on my Taxi Insurance?
